Ground Turkey Meatballs

1 lb. ground turkey or beef (fully defrosted)
1 large or medium egg (optional)
1/2 cup of Italian bread crumb
1 tbsp. of Lawry’s seasoning (or substitute your favorite seasoning)
1 tsp. salt and pepper
1/4 cup of Brown Sugar (optional)

Mix well all ingredients in a bowl
Form balls into desired size (I make them bite sized for the sake of the little ones)
Coat the bottom of frying pan with oil
Heat pan on medium high
Brown meatballs on all sides ( You may need to at some point drain the pan liquid if the meatballs begin simmering versus frying because ground turkey contains a lot of water)
Once browned drain on a paper towel or in a strainer
(This next step can be done on top of the stove or in the oven)
Add your favorite sauce (BBQ or Spaghetti), to a pot add 1/4-2/3 cup of water to create a thinner consistency
Heat to simmering and add the meatballs stir until they are all coated.
Heat at 300 degrees or simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes
