Tackle it Tuesday:Work Station

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

I clean off my desk at least once a week, but since we were given a (new to us) Dell CPU, well…things have gotten a little untidy.

My old emachines CPU used to fit perfectly below that shelf you see with the calculator on it but this new one is just too tall. So, first I’ll need to figure out a way to tuck it away so that it’s not sitting in the middle of the floor.

As you can see from the after shots, I just slid the CPU under the desk for now and straightened up my office supplies. As you can see I even organized the cords with twisty ties. Now all I have to do is find the back board for that desk to hide all of those unsightly dangling wires on the right hand side.

Now for the top of the desk. It isn’t that messy but a little clutter always seems to snowball so I’ll go ahead and tackle it while I’m in the cleaning mode.

And Viola. A clear workstation. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Now, go and tackle something.

How is your work station looking right now? Is it organized? Take 5 minutes and tidy up. Add a fresh flower or a lit candle to your desk while you work at the computer. Enjoy the rest of your day.

  1. Go to your local craft or office supply store and for $1 you can pick up a piece of white foamcore board. Just staple it (or nail or glue) it to the back of the desk to hide all the wires.

    Looks great nice job!

  3. Nice job, especially with the twisty ties and the cords! I always find those to be the most difficult to deal with.
