As of August 2008 I will begin Homeschooling my first Highschooler. I don’t know where to begin.
Advice wanted in the area of recordkeeping for transcripts. How to I create a transcript based on the Charlotte Mason Curriculum that will meet college criteria?
PLEASE SEND HELP!
Comments Wanted…Desperately!
Check the archives of Well Trained Mind site for the education years. Those boards have great information. Also House of Education [there’s a link on http://www.ambelsideonine.org they may have discussion in the archives or forms in the files.

Thank you so much guys. I am a bit nervous about teaching HS. I want to make sure that I have all of my ducks in a row before August.

Mater Amabilis is a Charlotte Mason curriculum, and she put up how she is tracking credit hours, her curriculum, etc.

Here is another resource. The planner ends up being your transcript:

You can use the free version. An upgrade for $40 is a benefit, but not a necessity. I used HT for about three months before upgrading. I’m glad I did, but saw that I still r’cd much from the free version.

There are forms at these places you can download for free:
http://www.chasesc.com/forms.html#8 (s SC website.. lots of useful forms)
http://teascript.com/?gclid=CMfk84jC_ZACFSakiQodb1xZjw (a transcript generator… looks pretty good with a free version you could try and if like then maybe upgrade to $20 per year one)
http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/olderkids/Transcripts.htm (several helpful looking articles)
http://www.homescholar.com (one of the ladies from Heart of the Matter runs this business.. she has a newsletter you can sign up for that would maybe be helpful plus look around her site and see what she has)

I hope that helps some!! I needed to look them all up to as I have my 10th grader at home too..
God bless,
Sallie
