Cook Ahead Meals
I have been busy the past two days preparing food. I have stuff for the freezer, I have snacks, breakfast…you name it…I made it.
I really enjoy preparing meals in advance. It is such a time saver. I had everything out from my crock pot to my stock pot and below I have the final results. Take a look.
Cooking ahead is not as hard as it sounds. Start off slow. Try making a double batch of your favorite meals at least once a week, and before you know it you will have a freezer full of food. In additon it will cut down on your overall time spent in the kicthen, therefore leaving more time for family.

Great work! Have you ever tried any of the things at “30 day Gourmet?” They have great recipes, planning forms, shopping planning forms etc, for freezer cooking. We love a lot of their stuff, although I have had to add more seasoning sometimes for our taste. Just Google it!

Last month I made a huge batch of homemade granola. I’ll be making it again in a couple of days.
I’ve discovered an English Muffin bread recipie that I’ve been making on Sunday evenings ~ it gives us three to four days of breakfasts. Yum, yum!
