I have done a lot more crafting this year than I’ve done in years. I owe it to the internet which has allowed me to connect with other crafters without leaving my home. I could have joined a local craft club, but then I would have had to work around my husbands schedule and also make child care arrangements for my children.
Participating in and hosting the craft club has allowed me to inspire and to be inspired. I have seen some awesome projects from you guys that have encouraged me to embark on new crafting adventures. I am learning to sew and have attempted more challenging crochet projects. For your visits, comments, subscription and participation on my blog, I am grateful.
I have really been able to accomplish some major goals because of the craft club. I have always desired to be the Proverbs 31 women who “seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands” as well as the one who “lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.” Now I don’t work with a spindle and distaff to create but, I will say that I am well pleased to spin my creations using my sewing machine.
I have always wanted to be able to create beauty throughout my home using my own hands and creativity. I have reupholstered my dining room chairs , created a neat thrifty window treatment and even made some cute accessories. I hope that each of you who are participating in the “Blogger Craft Club” are benefiting as much as I am. For those who just stop y to see what we are working on thank you for your time and interest.
