Inquiring Minds Want to Know

Lawanda left a comment on my post “Double Dose“:

Here’s what Lawanda said:

Your kitchen sink looks PRETTY! 🙂 I have 2 questions for you. Do you have a dishwasher? and What do you do with your dish drainer when you are finished? Since it is gone in the last couple pics. 🙂

Here’s my reply:

Lawanda thank you very much for the compliment. I didn’t realize that anyone else beside myself found a clean and clutter free sink attractive.

To answer your first question, I do have a dishwasher that I use every Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday and Monday mornings. All other days the washing, drying and putting away of dishes are divided between my four children. They wash dishes three times a day. I personally enjoy washing dishes, just not 20+ times a week. So my children divide the bulk of the dishwashing and I wash any difficult dishes and my husbands dishes after he eats a late dinner.

As for my dishrack it gets tucked away under the sink once the dishes are all put away. The idea of a clutter free counter is my husbands idea. I have come to enjoy a clutter free counter. It makes preparing meals so much easier. There are a few essential things that I keep on my counter which I will probably post about sometime in the future.

Out Of Site….Out Of Mind!

It came about by nessecity. With four-five kitchen helpers we need all of the prep space that we can find. The empty dishrack just takes up space so we put it away after we unload it.

    Thanks for stopping by Regina.
