As you all know I primarily shop Publix but a good deal is a good deal. If you’ve attended any one of my coupon workshops you already know that I encourage shoppers not to be brand loyal.

I do however admit that I am loyal to Breyer’s ice-cream and my husband is loyal to Gillette shave gel. My husband is the most stunningly handsome bald man you’ll ever meet. I guess it’s because he’ll only shave with Gillette.

When the Edge was on sale the past two weeks at Walgreen’s and CVS I offered to get him some. I told him all about rolling the register rewards but he casually declined the offer for FREE shave gel.

So, I have been buying him his Gillette at full price with the $1 off 1 Gillette Shave Gel coupon in the 04/05 P&G insert. I have found them on sale at Walgreens for $1.99-$1 of coupon, making them $0.99 each.

But lo’ and behold they are on sale at Bi-lo this week for $1 each. Using the $1 off coupon they will be FREE.

I used all my Gillette coupons last week. Is anyone willing to share?
