Why I Love Coupons & Aldi

I only needed to pick up a few items for the week. I set a budget of $20 for this weeks groceries. Our freezer is packed with frozen veggies, and the cabinets are thankful full to the brim. We are abundantly blessed to have our needs met.

The success rice was $0.39 a box and the Glass Plus only $.24 a bottle. Since making the transition to eat less meat, I have been pleasantly surprised to learn how affordable veggies are at ALDI. I purchased 10 lbs of potatoes for only $2.49. The 1/2 gallon Hood Milk is on sale at 2/$5 or $1.50 if you use the $1 off coupons from the dispenser on the shelf below it.

I shopped at both CVS, Publix and Aldi today. Total for everything pictured before coupons was $42.63. Total after coupons $19 so I saved $23.63. My CVS purchase was for Almay foundation which I paid $0.71 out of pocket, because I forgot to hand over my $1 off coupon.

Here are the coupon booklets I found today #1, #2, & #3. I hope that you are having a great week as you look well to the ways of your household.

Spread the love

  1. The Proverbs Wife says:

I found #1 at Publix near the Triscuits. Some reported finding them in the deli section. I found the Special K near the cereal.

  2. Wow…great!
How did you find coupon #1 & #3? You said #2 from CVS counter so I will look next time I'm there.
