Carpet Cleaning Tip
Here is a tip emailed in by a reader:
“My son spilled red koolaid on the carpet. Anything red is pretty much impossible to remove from carpet and kool aid is like a dye. I poured ammonia on the stain. (test first) placed a towel over and ironed the stained. It lifted onto the towel out of the carpet. Prior I tried carpet shampooer and detergents to no avail, but ammonia works! You cannot even tell the kool aid stain was there.… Traci!!”
