I know…I know. It sounds crazy to think that one could already be working on the 2010 gift giving season. Shopping through out the year is not very difficult if you start today
. Many frugal shoppers have carried over their grocery stockpiling methods into other areas of their lives. Stockpiling simply means buying and storing in advance the things you’ll need in the future. I shared a 5 step guide
on how I make gift giving less expensive by buying gifts when they are at their lowest price.
I went out to Walmart this morning and found four 2010 gift items. Walmart
has Christmas items marked 50% off. I only bought the items pictured because I know some gift list recipients will love them. I will head back to Walmart in a few days when the prices are 70% or more off.
Here’s what I added to my 2010 gift stockpile.
I have noted where it came from, what I paid and what I saved.
