I know…I know, it seems a little bit early to be thinking about 2010’s birthday and Christmas lists, however I can attest that by shopping early you are able to get more for your money. Not only that…shopping in advance takes the stress out of special occasions.
I have shared below (2) items I plan to purchase if they are still available when I return from church. They are relatively inexpensive and their are (2) children I know who these items would work perfectly for.
Hannah Montana DVD Game 2nd Edition $4.97
Thames and Kosmos Triceratops Skeleton Kit
Just a note…I am an Amazon affiliate, which means that I am compensated by Amazon.com when you purchase from them using my links. I am in no way attempting to coerce you into making purchases that do not benefit your family.
Although I appreciate it when you buy items through any of the affiliate or sponsor links on my page and in my posts, my main priority is to help you save money.
However, because “A Proverbs Wife” is geared towards encouraging readers to make wise financial decisions, I share tips to help you all save money on items you will inevitably purchase.
I do not buy every single item that I post about. That would not be good financial stewardship. I do however alert you all to good deals that I find on clothes, toys, groceries, etc.
Please use wisdom when taking advantage of these deals. I am able to many gifts in advance because I shop in advance. My Christmas 2009 was basically done throughout the year, therefore I can now begin shopping for 2010.
I will share strategies on shopping in advance for holidays and special occasions on future post. I hope that what I share here continues to help you.
