Tracking Your 2010 Store Savings

A good way to determine how much you are saving using coupons and shopping deals is to track you receipts. This can be done in a notebook or a spreadsheet.

I ‘ve shared an example of my “Store Savings Tracker” in excel below. It’s really simple to use. Each column is clearly labled indicting what information should be inserted. I especially like the rebate column. I use this column to locate my recipts when submitting a rebate. It works as a reminder for me to check the status of submitted rebates.

The cell are formulated to calculate your out of pocket cost, your total dollar amount saved and your actual percentage saved.
