The first thing I love about this book is the illustrations. I am a huge fan of beautifully illustrated books. Abigail Marble to a great job using colors and images that hopefully will catch the attention of any child. The book is a hardcover which includes a book jacket. As a mom of little ones who like to ready with sticky hands, book jacket are always a plus.
Tim McGraw’s Love Your Heart is a perfect read for confident readers ages 7 through 10. Love Your Heart deals with the situations that many little girls face. The main character Katie is preparing the be in the school talent show, but can’t decide amongst her many talents which present at the show.
In the end Katie make the choice to demonstrate the best talent of all…sacrifice.
This is a good book for young girls as it demonstrates kindness and friendship. The pricing of the book is a bit steep at $16.99, however it is priced well in comparison to other book on the market like it. You can check out a flip version of the book here.
