Yesterday was one of those days.
1- I had a sick child
2- We missed church
3- After an hour and a half drive, we arrived at my in-laws only to find an empty house.
4- We decided to wait and ended up heading back home later than expected.
5- On the way back we ran into a thunderstorm and lot’s of flooding on the roads.
6- It’s now too late to start cooking dinner.
7- We stopped to pick up a microwave from a friend, that we found was unusable after we bought it home 🙁
8- And to put the icing on the cake, I learned that my children neglected to put away four pounds of frozen fish I had bought on Saturday afternoon 🙁
Did I say that yesterday was on of those days…
Here is my menu plan for June 21st-25th.
Breakfast:
Veggie Juice (4 quarts)
Baked Oatmeal w/ fruit x2
Hard Boiled Eggs & Hashbrowns
Bagels & Apple
Pancakes (premade freezer meal)
Grits & Cheese w/ Pop Tarts
Lunch:
Nutella & Jam Sandwiches
Tombstone Pizza
Crab Cakes
Mac & Cheese
Bush’s Grillin’ Beans & Rice
Dinner:
Steamed Flounder & steamed veggies
Lasagna x2 w/ salad
Beef Stew x2 w/ steamed rice
Enchillada bake x2 w/ baked potato
Mini Meatloaf x2 w/ mashed potatoes
