Getting Back to Normal…Hopefully!!!

I have left you guys hanging in terms of quality posts over the past few weeks. During the month of October up until now, I have been stretched in so many directions financially and emotionally.

Some of you may remember that I went to New York in mid October to bury my grandmother. Attending her funeral was hard for me and just to let you in on a little secret…I don’t cope well with loss. Sadness seems to stick to me and it takes quite a while for me to grieve. This is the reason why I haven’t written any homemaking, marriage, parenting or debt freedom posts lately.

There is so much I want to share with you guys in terms of our debt freedom journey, but for now I will only say that we are in the final stretch of our last 2010 financial goal which is to go on our family vacation debt free. This is our reward to ourselves for all of the sacrifice and perseverance we’ve put forward to get this far. Stay tuned for a rundown of how we did financially this year and for a preview of our financial plans for 2011.
