This is going to be a busy week.
By Friday of last week, we were looking forward to a Saturday at home. We had it all planned out. I had gotten the grocery shopping done on Wednesday and Thursday as opposed to my normal shopping day on Saturday. Mr. Proverbs Wife didn’t have any outdoor plans either. By Saturday morning, the kids were up early because they new we’d plan to play with all of the new surprises they had received earlier in the week via the Fed Ex man. (I’ll share more about that soon, plus there are some great giveaways lined up for my mommy’s).
But sometime plans don’t work out. While cooking breakfast Saturday morning, we heard a loud POP!! from the kitchen. We I went to check it out, I learned that our bottom oven heating element had burned out. We had replaced it once within the last two years and planned to order a new top heating element. We try to find a way around not leaving the house, but ended up heading out to the store to replace the oven. We had previously budgeted to replace the hot water heater this month as well, so we ordered that while we were out as well.
We also have the “Geek Squad” coming out to set up our router and wireless devices, plus Mr. Proverbs Wife is having our post Valentines Day gift delivered this week.
I don’t know how much I will be able to keep on track with school lessons this week.
I’m not sure how much will posted on the blog this week.
Nor am I looking forward to having strangers in my home all week.
I didn’t mention it to Mr. Proverbs Wife…but I am not looking forward to all of this traffic and interruptions, but like I said, “This is going to be a busy week”.
I would love to hear about the fun stuff planned for your week. If you feel led to write your own ‘Working Willingly’ post online leave a link to your post below.
