Why You Shouldn’t Save Your Good Clothes for Special Occasions
Good morning.
I’ll bet you were surprised to see so many pictures of me all dressed up….huh?!?
The reason I’m sharing pictures is because I am a stickler about stay at home or work at home moms getting dressed up. I make at point to get dressed during the week because my motto is — No need to save your “good clothes” for special occasions. Everyday with your family is a special occasion.
The images below are what I wore Thursday (blue plaid dress) , Friday (pink cardigan for gardening) and Sunday (the belted knit sweater and denim for after church fellowship).

@momstheword,
Hey Nan,
I didn’t do any heavy gardening, just moved a few Azaleas around and mulched. It feels good to spend some time in the sun gardening and still look great when the mail lady pulls up to deliver the mail.
I know what you mean about the cold. It get’s really cold in our house during the winter too, so I’ve started layering more during the winter using girly turtlenecks and cardigans versus sweats. It’s much more convenient and in my comfort zone to go for the sweats which is why I got rid of them. I figured why hold onto clothes that don’t make me look my best.
I’d say go for it Nan…put on something pretty and join in on the What I Wore Wednesday meme next week.
