America’s Test Kitchen: 300 Digital Recipes + Just $0.02 EACH!!

Amazon has a frugal simple meal plan solution for us today but before I get to that, how many of you can agree with the next statement.

No matter whether this question starts off with ‘honey’ or ‘mommy’, “What’s for dinner?” is the question I dread the most after 4 PM.

I used to dread it too before I started making meal plans. I now have hundreds of recipes between my homemaking binder and cookbooks to choose from at any given moment. And because I stock up when my staples are on sale 9 times out of 10, I’ll have the ingredients for the most basic recipes.

So what do you do if you don’t have loads of recipes on hand? We’ll you can scour websites, or you can check out the America’s Test Kitchen: Let’s Get Cooking DS planner. It fits right into your child’s DS and comes with over 300 recipes, shopping list and meal prep tutorials.

You can watch videos of meals being prepared, create your shopping list and more for $5.92 + FREE SUPER SAVER SHIPPING!! (Reg. $19.99)

This would make an even better gift idea for your tweens & teens, especially if they are learning to cook more complex meals. My children are required to learn to help prepare meals from the time they can walk and talk. My daughters each have to keep a personal cookbook where they write in and glue in recipes they know how to make. If you are just starting to teach your kids to help mommy in the kitchen, then this meal prep game really takes that idea to a whole new level.

If you plan to snag this you can apply the Amazon gift cards you’ve been earning through surveys and Swagbucks to get this for FREE or cheap.

Do your kids help out in the kitchen yes or no and what are their ages?

I’m sure my kids would love to help out in the kitchen more, if I let them. I need to be better about it, but I’m usually in a hurry and just want to get it done. My kids are 7, 5, 5 and 2.

Wow!! You have all babies but still old enough to help in the kitchen doing little things like washing veggies and rinsing cans. 🙂
