After doing more research, ShadowShoper let’s you join for FREE but then charges for you to access the assignments. It’s $4.95 a month. (Thanks Michele) I have altered this post because I don’t support companies that charge you to start making money. Sorry about that. If you are interested in mystery shopping, I am signed to Trend Source which never charges you a thing.
I received and email early this week telling me that ShadowShopper.com is accepting new applicants. If you are looking for a legitimate way to make some extra money doing something that you love, this may be an opportunity to check out. If you’d like to learn more about “shadow shopping”, Diane Sawyer of Good Morning America did a piece called “Recession Rescue” which you can watch here.
From my experience with mystery shopping companies, they offer great opportunities for places such as Kroger, AAA, PapaJohns, CVS, Staples among others. I’ve never done personally done a shadow shop… but I have done other similar shops for national brands along the same lines as shadow shopping.
If you are a go-getter and live in high demand areas, you can easily make good money doing this.
Do any of you mystery shop? If so, please contact me and provide some feedback on your experience. Also, if you are a member of ShadowShopper.com or another Mystery shopper company let us know.
