I was also nervous because while I’ve managed my husband’s company for several years and my own since 2010, we’ve never had employees so this is new territory for me.
WHY I’M HIRING A DEAL BLOGGER?
Posting deals is a time consuming task and while I love finding freebies and saving money, there are lots of other resources that I’d like resume sharing and others I’d like to begin sharing here.
I’ve also gotten away from sharing encouragement for those who are married and those preparing for marriage (Proverbs 31:10-12). Marriage is very important to me and is one of the primary reasons for starting this blog in 2008.
Having someone post deals a couple of times a week will free up my time to share additional helpful content. I’m also anticipating that God will continue to bless me financial so that I can hire several other people to handle some administrative stuff and accounting.
For those of you who are not ‘deal bloggers’ per se, there will be some non-paid positions for reviewers as well. I get emails from companies each week who want me to try their products and write a review but I only have so much time in my day. Hopefully, when I put out the call for reviewers you all will respond and I can put together a staff of reviewers who will try products and share your experience.
In the end, I want to keep things as simple around here as possible. I want the blog to continue to grow, but I want to bring in those who are gifted to handle to things that I am not gifted at. I am prayerful that God will enable me to charter this new territory but I am equally excited about all that He’s doing in this season of my life.
