Blessing Report – How Prayer Changes My Situations

This praying Mama was up a few nights ago with her sick child and all the while I was speaking to God on her behalf cause when any of my young’n gets sick it’s serious business. Especially when it comes to my two middle children.

They’ve both had to be hospitalized because they are allergy and asthma sufferers and whenever they catch a cold it takes a heavy toll on their respiratory system.

When they get sick it’s nebulizer treatments, acetaminophen, antihistamine, cough suppressants, decongestant and prayer every two to four hours.

My daughter woke me at about 1 a.m with chest tightness and I went to work on giving her a nebulizer treatment and medicine. Once I returned to my bedroom, I began to pray. While I was up praying I started thinking about who else might be up at this hour and it got me to thinking about those of you with situations that might be robbing you of sleep. Lack of answers and resolution can robe of use sleep and peace which got me to thinking about the following verse.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

James 1:5-7

So after I prayed for God to relieve the tightness in my baby’s chest, dry up the drainage in her sinuses and provide her and with rest, I began praying for you all, my readers.

I prayed that God would bring answers to those of you who have unanswered questions. I prayed that He would provide jobs to those who are out of work. I prayed that He would provide financial relief and the resources for your needs. I asked that He’d take away any anxiety your problems may be causing and that He’ d replace them with peace.

I prayed for you and my young’n for about fifteen minutes. Within that time her aggressive coughing had subsided and she was sound asleep.

I pray that the same rest and relief that blanketed my princess washed over you as well.

Just know that I am concerned about and am praying for you.
