Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day August 1| Supports Biblical Christian Values

Wednesday, August 1 is “Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day. That will be the day to come support a business that operates on Christian principles. Chick-Fil-A believes that a Biblical marriage is a union between a man and a women and their executives are willing to take a stand for those Godly values.

They also believe that Sunday is a day a rest which is why they are closed and don’t require their employees to work. They are the only business I know that encourages the sabbath and church attendance. In addition, when you visit a Chick-Fil-A, you should listen closely at the music that’s playing. This is a family friendly restaurant where you don’t have to cover your kids eyes or ears while dining.

According to Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy;

Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy said this week that his privately owned company is “guilty as charged” in support of what he called the biblical definition of the family unit.

Chick-fil-A released its own statement, saying it has a history of applying biblically-based principles to its business, such as keeping its stores closed on Sundays.

According to Mike Huckabee, in order to show support of Chick-Fil-A, all you  show up and eat on Wednesday, August 1.

The reason behind the special day is in response to the day planned by a gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender group called the “National Same-Sex Kiss Day”. GLBT people from all over the nation plan to head over to Chick-Fil-A on August 3rd for dinner and some kissing.

“We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that,” Cathy told the Baptist Press, the news agency of the Southern Baptist Convention.

If you’d like to stand behind Chick-Fil-A make plans to eat at Chick-Fil-A on 8/1.

Finally, Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day is not sponsored by Chick-Fil-A. The idea was created by senator

    I love this, my husband and I were just talking about this early this morning (4 am). The subject was why have all of the christians backed down and do not stand up for what is good (Godly). Why are we letting all these ungodly people take over telling us what we can/cannot do. This country was founded on God and should remain that way! We should not support any business or person that supports gay and lesbian rights. I commend Chick-fil-A for taking a stand. God will richly BLESS you!!

    And then after you get your tummy full at Chick-fil-A, head to Hobby Lobby! They also play Christian music, and are closed on Sundays. Sounds like I have my afternoon planned on Aug 1st! :)
