The Amazing Spider-Man Party | #SpiderManWMT

Mr. P and I are very intentional when it comes to planning family time with our children. Ever since they were little we’ve tried to do something fun together at least one day out of the week.

The most most recent family day not only included me, my husband, and the kids but also included my extended family as well. My mother and sister in laws came by to party with us.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that we were getting geared up for the early release of The Amazing Spider-man.

I told the kids I’d bought the exclusive movie gift set which includes the UltraViolet Limited Edition Mask gift set box + a bonus DVD & Limited Edition Mask DVD case.

We also received an exclusive pre-order digital copy of the movie to watch on Vudu.com October 30th.  The actual Blu-Ray and DVD will be mailed out to us a couple days before the movie’s official November 9th release date.

The kids have been so excited about our family coming over for the pre-release party and had been asking me about it almost non-stop since the beginning of October.

When the time finally came to celebrate the kids jumped right in and helped decorate for the party.

Feeding everyone was really easy. I just picked up three Walmart Extra-Large Marketside pizzas and some cake mix for dessert.

The Marketside Pizza’s were reasonably priced at under $9 each. As we get closer to the November 9th movie release date the boxes will have an image of Spider-Man on them plus be equipped with augmented reality capabilities.

If you pick up a pizza box with Spider-man on it you’ll be able to point your iPhone, iPad or Android at The Amazing Spider-Man augmented reality trigger and unlock 3D features which is really cool.

Be sure to look for  additional AR triggers throughout the store on specially marked  The Amazing Spider-Man pallets. Using these trigger points is a great way to keep your kids entertained while shopping, especially if you don’t have a ginormous Cocky in your Walmart for them to hang out with.

Intentional family time for us is not about what we do but about who we do it with. It’s always a pleasure for me to partner with companies that help Mr. P and I carry out our family goals and the mission of AProverbsWife.com.

We hope that by sharing glimpse of our lives, you are inspired to become more intentional about planning time with your family.
