Are You Wearing the Full Armor of God? -

All emotions many of us have or are currently enduring. Life has so many unexpected twists. Many are filled with tears and sadness.

On the other hand, countless days are filled with joy, laughter, and love. The good days do not need a blueprint.

How do we deal with the not so good days?

The days you have prayed and prayed and prayed again but your anger towards the situation will not diminish. Those days where the tears flow without ceasing. Those days where your resources are tapped out and you are out of solutions.

This is when our trust in God is put to the test. When scripture is not just theory or words on a page. This is when we put on The Full Armor of God.

Ephesian 6:10-18

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in placeand with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

As followers of Jesus we know that the battle is won. We also know, that although weeping may last through the night, joy WILL come in the morning. We have to stand firm. We have to push through with the assurance that God is in control even if we cannot see the way.

Be encouraged.

Stay strong.

God is in control.

Miracles happen.

Healing will occur.

Doors will open.

Comfort will arrive.

Our needs will be met.

Matthew 7:7

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Are you struggling with something so heavy right now it feels like you won’t make it? I’d love to pray for you. Leave your name in the comments below and I will add it to my prayer list.
