This week I was given the opportunity to test out Rite Aid’s new line of Tugaboos diapers. I’ve never used Tugaboos but learned they range in price from $6.47- $10.49 at Rite Aid.
I’m not opposed to using store brand diapers and was a store brand diaper momma from day one. From time to time by baby will wear national brand diapers but those typically come from his grandparents.
As a frugal young family who does not buy national brand diapers we still want a lost but high quality product. When I read up on the great features that Tugaboos offers I decided to give them a try.
Rite Aid Tugaboos diapers have recently been improved for added leakage protection and faster absorption. Some of the key features of Tugaboos diapers include:
Soft stretchable waist & side panels
Excellent leakage protection
Hypoallergenic inner liner
Cottony soft feel
I was so excited to receive the Tugaboos diapers. Who doesn’t love freebies? Coincidentally I received my sample pack the day my baby ran out of diapers. Lucky me!
I think the Tugaboos diapers are a pretty good store brand diaper for my baby and here’s why:
They held up pretty good overnight and I haven’t had to change my baby’s diaper once all night.
I haven’t had any leaks out of the diapers at all.
The adhesive tabs on the diaper are strong enough to stay put when my son tugs on them.
They are better than most store brand diapers that I have tried.
Here are the things that I wasn’t to fond of:
The diapers are on the thin side.
The price is higher than the store brand diapers that I typically buy.
Rite Aid Tugaboos Diapers have many features that will help keep your little one comfortable and dry. If you are looking for a durable store brand diaper you’ll want to consider picking up Tugaboos at Rite-Aid plus they have a great giveaway going on this month.

One of the last packs of diapers I bought for my twins who are now 6 was the Rite Aid brand diapers. This article gave me a chance to visit some really good memories.
