My #LongLastingScent laundry routine and shopping trip has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.
Our laundry routine includes the entire family pitching in and wash clothes as the laundry baskets become full.
We use a separate laundry basket for each type of laundry load. This makes starting a load of laundry so much easier.
Each of my children are assigned a task and are responsible for helping with laundry a few times a week.
-
My oldest son loads the washer.
-
My daughter transfers the clean clothes from the washer to the dryer.
-
My youngest son, transfers the laundry from the dryer to the folding table.
-
Everyone collects their clothes from the folding table.
When we wash clothes we use laundry detergent, fabric softener, in-wash scent boosters and bleach as needed.
We like to smell scents on our clean laundry so before we load the clothes into the washing machine we add an in-wash scent booster like Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™.
We’re using soothing lavender scented Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™ along with Suavitel® Fabric Conditioner to soften and freshen our clothes. The Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™ also come in Field Flowers scent.
We bought them both at Walmart and while I folded the clothes this morning, the entire bedroom smelled like a scented candle.
The Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™ last 5x’s longer and lingers on fabrics for days, so how much we use per load depends on what we’re washing. For towels, gym clothes and bed linen, we add about a half cap full of fragrance pearls.
For all other clothing we use a quarter cap full. When I put my clothes on whether for the gym or running errands, I want them to look clean and especially smell clean.
Now that I’ve shared my laundry routine with you, tell me about yours.

@Samantha K, So true and I learned this brand has a powerful scent so I don’t need to use as much as I have in the past with other brands.

Ohh, I bet these smell lovely. I am going to have to try them. As far as my routine goes….we just use laundry soap and a dryer sheet. My 3.5 year old loves to help pull the laundry out of the dryer and helps drag the basket to the living room to fold. Team effort for the win!

@Rebecca Orr, That’s good you are getting your toddler involved. I started my kids early too.
