I am not a big shopper but I do know a deal when I see it. You normally have to get up extra early in the morning to get the past years deals but this years 2008 Thanksgiving specials, can be pruchased online. Even if I have to get up at fibe a.m. I have found that it is completely worth every minute.
I bought my daughter a Gameboy two years ago for half the price. I also purchased a seventy-five dollar MP3 player for thirty-five dollars. I will be using this years Black Friday to purchase an X-Box for the children for Christmas. I will also be looking to score some other early Christmas goodies if possible.
I will be heading to Circuit City and BestBuy to search for a digital camera and an X-box system. I already know that Walmart will probably have some great deals on early Christmas gifts.
I will be the first to admit that last years Black Friday deals were dismal but I am hoping that this year we, the consumers, are pleasantly surprised. This is a good time to stock up on movies, video games, and clothes. You will find great bargains televisions and digital cameras. If you are in the market for a digital converter box, now may be the time to buy one. If you use your forty-dollar government discount combined with a sweet Black Friday deal, you can probably get a free digital converter box before Christmas. Here are just a few of the deals that I found at Walmart , a 10 Cup Coffee Maker for three dollars and ninety-eight cents, a 10 Gallon 10k Gold Hoop Earrings for eight dollars and eighty-eight cents, and a Wet/Dry Shop Vac for twenty-dollars. These are just three items from my wish-list. That’s three items under forty bucks and I can even order them on-line. That has got to be the best part about Black Friday is that many of the deals can be had on-line and delivered to your home.
If you have never shopped Black Friday, try it. Check the circulars and pick up the Sunday paper before Thanksgiving. I’m sure you’ll find something that you could knock off of your Christmas list during Black Friday weekend.
I love shopping on Black Friday, but I agree, they didn’t have anything super great last year. Although I was able to buy my husband a Legend of Zelda Gold DS that came with the game and a $10 gift card at Target. I hope it’s much better this year.

Thanks for the info. Hubby wants to buy a Playstation3 for the kiddos for Christmas, so hopefully we can find one then. I’d love a Wii, but I doubt if we get both. I’ll definitely be checking to see what other great deals I can find!
