These are the books that you will find in my kitchen this season. The Tightwad Gazette I & II by Amy Dacyczyn and LaBelle Cuisine by Patti Labelle. These are the books that I thumb through when I am cooking meals that don’t allow me to leave the kitchen. The information is short and can be read and digested fairly quickly. Patti shares stories and pictures from her life as well as recpies that she loves.
In my livingroom on my reading table you will find “Housewives Desperate for God, The Excellent Wife and America’s Cheapest Family”. These books are also great since the chapters a fairly short and I can read a little in between talking with my children.

That’s a great tackle!

I also have the Tightwad Gazette books. I love her muffin recipe and how you can switch how different ingredients.

I LOVE the Tightwad Ggazette! Amy is a frugal genius.

I would like to hear your review of America’s Cheapest Family. I saw them on a television program, and I was disappointed in their “advice” for saving money, but I wonder if that was just bad editing on the Network’s part?

America’s Cheapest Family I haven’t read but the rest I am familiar with. Nice choice of books. I like your blog, this is my first visit.
