For those of you who have been visiting my blog for any amount of time you already know that I am planning to buy a new laptop with no out of pocket cost courtesy of Amazon and Swagbucks.
I told you the details in this post but wanted to take a moment to update you on my progress. At the time of my last post I reached 26.6% of my goal of hording swagbucks to buy Amazon gift cards. I have since added more Amazon gift cards and you can see where I’m at now on the chart below:
I am hoping that I can earn enough to get a new laptop before my Dell conks out. It is really on the verge of a nervous breakdown from all of the deals, images, information etc., stored on it. Sometime it turns on and sometimes it doesn’t and that’s not good. UPDATE: My laptop has not turned on for two weeks as of the time of this writing. I have been using my desktop and blackberry to update the site and so far so good. My frugal nature won’t allow me to buy a new laptop just yet. I really want to try and stick with my goal of paying $o out of pocket so I am looking forward to seeing how things turn out.
So keep your fingers crossed for me. And I’ll keep you updated on my progress.
