Paying for Christmas 2011 With Swagbucks

I have been using Swagbucks to earn cash and gift cards since 2009. As soon as I learned how to use my reward points to offset the cost of my expenses I was sold. Over the last two years I’ve cashed out around $600 in cash and gift cards. I’ve used Swagbucks rewards to pay for home school materialsChristmas gifts as well as home repairs.

This year I plan to do the same and track my progress here on the blog. On the 2nd of every month, I’ll share an update of how many Swagbucks I’ve earned and how I used them. I’ll also include links to tips to help you get earn more Swagbucks as well.

Here’s how you get involved. Each month you’ll write a post, sharing how you did using the format here or your own. Then on the 2nd day of the month, come and leave a link to your post. Be sure to use one of the buttons below in your post.

What’s so great about Swag Bucks?

Swag Bucks is a site that allows you to earn great prizes such as iPhones, gift cards, video game consoles, and more. Points or Swagbucks, are earned when you use their search engine, complete task, watch videos and much more.

Earning Swag Bucks is easy. Each search is an opportunity to win random “Swag Bucks” amounts. They can then be redeemed for various prizes. I regularly redeem my swagbucks for  Amazon.com eGift cards which cost 450 Swag Bucks!

Get paid for something you’re already doing already? The great thing about Swag Bucks is that it is powered by Google. Plus, they often offer special Swag Codes for additional points as well, so it’s not hard to rack up enough points to redeem often! I earn point daily by using the Swag Bucks toolbar. This makes earning Swag Bucks easy.
