In an effort to distract myself until I can find a paint color suitable for my thrifted master bedroom dresser I have been working on other dresser related projects.
Two of the brass drawer handles needed replacing so I replaced them with these pretty glass knobs.
Replacing the knobs led to organizing my drawers, which led to me giving you a peek at how I organize my drawer.
How to Organize Dresser Drawers Super Cheap
My Method
The first thing did was empty the drawers and line them with contact paper.
I use contact paper to dress up all kinds of everyday household items such as this, this, this, this and this.
I lined my husbands drawer with a neutral design and mine with something colorful.
The paper in my husbands drawer is one we found at Walmart and the other I picked up at the Dollar Tree.
Before putting the clothes back in the drawers I wanted to add some sort of dividers but didn’t want to run to the store for anything.
I needed a quick fix so I grabbed some sturdy cardboard and cut strips the length of my drawers.
I find that my undergarment drawer is the quickest to become disorganized so these dividers should help.
I may dress them up with contact paper later on but for now they are keeping everything in neat rows.
